Inspired by Italo Calvino’s novel The Baron in the Trees.

This shirt draws its inspiration from Italo Calvino’s novel The Baron in the Trees. We have incorporated the scene of the protagonist walking among the trees into our design using patchwork. By blending diverse fabric textures and colours, the scene of the book is transformed into a wearable, dynamic piece.

In this piece, forest birds and handcrafted buttonholes are seamlessly merged into a single design detail, while the Baron’s dynamic movement spans continuously across the front and back of the garment. The storytelling concludes on the back, where his foot and loyal little hound bring a charming touch to the design.
